Join us for the opening reception of Art Ventures’ June, 2018 exhibition featuring the dynamic still-life paintings of Donna Phipps Stout, the driving marks of Moh’d Bilbeisi’s watercolors and the cool sculptural work of Brian Bailey. Also on display are the works of our portraiture group. All are welcome.

Donna Phipps Stout Exhibits at the Art Ventures Gallery June 2018Donna Phipps Stout grew up in Kentucky and as a child spent her time exploring the woods and fields, and drawing. Her parents were both teachers, encouraged her artistic talents, gave her with oil paints at a young age. Donna’s interest in the arts flourished and she went on to earn a Master’s degree in fine arts from Indiana University. Donna has taught at John Brown University and the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. She has received many honors including the Mid-America Alliance/National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship Award in Painting and Works on Paper, and the Farman Still Life Prize, Salon Biennial, Grand Palais, Paris, France. This exhibition includes several pieces shown for the first time.

Mohammed (Moh'd) Bilbeisi Exhibits at the Art Ventures Gallery June 2018Mohammed (Moh’d) Bilbeisi is an imaginative professor, architect, illustrator, and watercolorist who is driven by an incredible passion for self-expression through art. Moh’d earned both his Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from Oklahoma State University and joined the faculty in 1998. His works have been featured in many exhibitions, nationally, and internationally. He also conducts workshops throughout the globe. His illustrations have appeared in numerous publications, books, journal ads, and are collected worldwide. 

Brian Bailey Exhibits at the Art Ventures Gallery June 2018Brian Bailey is a neon light artist from Longview, TX currently residing in Springdale, Arkansas. Brian began his career in 2009 working as an apprentice to hone craft and master technique. He started his own company, Illuminati Signs, in 2011 and in 2017 he transformed artist Doze Green’s designs into neon for Green’s Divine Sparks project sponsored by The Unexpected in Fort Smith, AR . Bailey has built a sustainable commercial business, and with that, launched his own creative work with the Neon Revival Project. He is co-founder of heART Arkansas, “a global art house that involves the community in creating art projects.”
